In this unique project work by Alland Byallo, he has created hand-painted, unique art to meet the bold type and clean layout. The original artwork is gritty but the details found in the super high-resolution scans evoke visions of outer space. The contrast between abstract art and tightly structured layout takes us to a place where the human soul and creativity meet digital life and technology.
@carlcraignet had a vision for Black History Month called All Black Digital, and it was an incredible honor to bring the visual side of this to life. @beatport and @bridgesformusic will stream and promote a series of conversations on topics ranging from his own Planet E label to Afrofuturism, culminating in a live DJ stream from South Africa in partnership with the mighty @quincyjones own SVOD @qwest.tv
Each painting is its own place and time in space. Each week’s stream will have a unique piece of hand-painted art and still feel like a cohesive, singular universe.
This project uses the beautiful Power Grotesk Typeface by @powertypefoundry and puts it to work immediately. They Love it! Superb work!
